As I have mentioned in my earlier post, I'm spending my weekends here in Singapore in this stuffy little room of mine with bright lights and no yellow lights to soothe my mood. BUT it's alright, I'm constantly on Radio.Blog.Club listening to HOME and some Italian songs reminiscing my not-so-bright-or-stressful-weekend in JB.
Woke up at 11pm and asked Uncle Suan on some technics to write a good report. His suggestions were darn good but I was too lazy to amend my already-4-pages-if-i-use-1.5-spacing report. He then passed me a thick book on branding about Richard Branson's Virgin Group. It helped!
Okay, I'm listenin' to Kenny G now, thinkin' bout how I'd be relaxing in my dad's car if I were in JB.
After Uncle Suan's 'lecture' on marketing, I headed out to meet Yvonne and Sharmain for some Hong Kong delight. Haha. Had our lunch at Xin Wang HK Restaurant. Then it's more girls' day out stuff for us. Bought a chain with a million of red stars on it, love the design. Bought a shirt that's HUGE. I liked it a lot. But Sharmain said it's kinda 'manly'. Hmm, one bad thing while buying the shirt is the salesperson. He's the most annoying salesperson I've seen today. More annoying then dial-up. Sharmain, Yvonne and I couldn't stand his way of persuading and excessive compliments.
Yvonne then bought a flats with ugly heels. Haha it's so ugly u can just pluck it off and paste it back. But it looks real good when she tried it on. =)
Headed back to Taka and on our way guess what?? WE SAW KUI JIEN!!!! He looks so cute!!!! HOWEVER he was showing buzz-off-i-have-a-hot-angmoh-girlfriend kinda face so I guess I didn't dare to approach him. Wait, even if his face is as smiley as the OH-MY-GAWD-SAY-SOMETHING kinda face I wouldn't dare to approach him also la. >=) Congratulations Mr. Kui Jien for you will have a hassle free day!
Went back home and Saemi invited us for dinner. And so we had a peculiar meal at her place. It is weird not because of the Nabe( I think it's nabe but no soup, just some sauce) but because when you take the food out of the pot, you have to dip it into a bowl of raw egg and eat it. EEYER I thought it would taste nasty but it turned out that it does not stink and it even enhances the food! Woot! Do NOT try this at home because the egg that they use is from some fjgrfyrhrgfryg Japanese market so it's not like those usual fuidghdkjfh egg that we use.
Talked about 'Bathing Ape', however only Uncle Suan and Auntie Tomoko have heard of that brand. 'Bathing Ape' sell their shirts at a price of $300++ per pierce and so Ta Chan asked Saemi to draw herself an ape on her shirt and sell it at $3. Uncle Suan did Saemi a favour by branding her $3 shirt 'Bathing Orang Utan'. Laughed my ass off. After that it's back to more typical Japanese conversation. I learnt a word today KASA means UMBRELLA in Japanese. =3 Everybody say KASA.
KASEX. BAH. =.=
It's a pity I can't stay for more Otaku-Gamera-Tachan-NyangKo-Sinsei funny ass shit. Gotta go home and do my report. UGH@_@
