DILEMMA

Soooo... I've been into a lot of chillwave artistes recently, like Sweater Beats, Chrome Sparks and ESPECIALLY Toro Y Moi!! OMG. I just can't get enough of Toro Y Moi. I practically play Toro Y Moi every single time I switched on my computer UNTIL I turn it off.

I'm so obsessed that I'm thinking of what to do about my fondness literally. So, I guess I decided to blog? Weird. Okay, so I discovered this gem from Indieshuffle.com, Toro Y Moi is a solo project by Chaz Bundick (this really cute half Filipino half African) from South Carolina. He's so cute like a teddy bear and each time he smiles you just go "Aww".

I was bummed by the band's name. :/ HOW DO YOU PRONOUNCE THAT AND WHAT DOES IT EVEN MEAN?! So I looked it up and I love Toro Y Moi even more now :) Okay, "Toro" is "bull" in Spanish, "Y" is "and" in Spanish and "Moi" is universally "me" in French. (Pronounced as toh-ro-ee-mua) Toro Y Moi = Bull and Me. How adorable. HAHA. Okay, maybe some pictures to express my crazy gushing.

Chaz Bundick of Toro Y Moi

He's smiling, he's smiling!

Okay, I better stop. Later his girlfriend not happy, LOL. Anyway, here's my favorite song from Toro Y Moi-->

Can you believe he produced that?! *eargasm*

Ahhh, another awesome track, but this one is by Chrome Sparks. OMG, listen with headphones, so crazily eargasmic. I can't think of other words to describe it.

Oh ya, so why is the title of this entry DILEMMA? See, I love love love all these awesome tracks. As a result, I listen to them non-stop. BUT, I was afraid that one day I'll get tired of the same song, so I tried to limit myself to listen to 'em like once or twice but the problem is I can't do it. OMG, I need to learn some self-control. *clicks play* NOOOOOO..... it's just too good to not listen < 3

Sæglópur

Soooooo... it's been a LONG time since I logged into my Umbrellasex blogger account, that's because I just recalled my email address for this blog... I fell victim to the "those-corny-email addresses-you created-when-you-were-12-and-can't-remember-after-12 years-syndrome". That's a long name for a long disease that haunts you for a long time. It's only appropriate. Haha, ANYWAY... I had an idea of what to blog about... and sooo I thoroughly investigated all the email addresses I created in the past to retrieve the password for my favorite blog. THIS IS SACRIFICE! (Unnecessary) :/

Okay, my blog entry today will be on my NAIL DESIGN! Not just that, I have a song for it! Well, the design came first, then the song came through my mind when I was looking at my nails. If my nails could play music, it would be that song - Sæglópur by Sigur Rós.

Anyway, Sigur Rós is coming to Singapore on 23rd Nov!! I couldn't afford the ticket ($198, ish!) So I participated in Lush 995's giveaway! *crossing fingers*

Words will not suffice, let the pictures do the talkin'!
I included a video to show the design from another angle. (I accidentally took a video, wanted a photo, that's why I uhm.. said "NOOO")
Gray base with gold glitters

Sooo... Sæglópur means "Lost At Sea" in Icelandic (some say Hopelandic - gibberish words that sound like Icelandic), and I think the gray based really looks like the surface of the vast sea at night. The gold flecks act as the reflective surface of the sea when the moon shines upon it. Hmm, that's what I get when I look at my nails.

Now, play the song and look at my nails. Explore your imagination, it could always be something else. Maybe next week, it'll look like a forest pond with glowing fish? Guess that's the beauty of Hopelandic, no meaning, it's up to you to interpret >.<

I used:
Base: OPI I don't give a Rotterdam (2 coats)
Glitter: Etude House LUCIDarling 04 (1 coat)

Everybody also ugly so it's fair ah!!

Was looking through my very very old photo albums and I stumbled upon these pictures. Sweet!

Haha, I think it was during lecture time in my poly days. Got bored, so I decided to exploit my lecture mates' curiosity. Here's the trick:

Take out my phone and set it to camera mode.
Flip it to the back of the phone and pretend that there's a crack on my lens.
Ask for opinions and KACHIAK! Caught ya!

Enjoy the pics!
Dominic : Got crack mer?

Hilda! Haha, I think she looked the prettiest here.

Yen Peng : Aiya why you so boliao show me the crack?

Yen Peng again. Cause I punk'd you twice!! Haha.

Cheryl. Haha, smart girl. But I was FAST.

Solomon: Lemme see if I can help.

John: Ooh, crack. My pants are tight.

Shi Shi: Lemme see lemme see, got mer?

Sharmain. Where got people see crack so happy one??

Hmm. You guess who?

Wan Ting. Why she smile when she see crack??

Sharmain. She volunteered! HAHA.

Jocelyn Kim Ai Tiong: You sure or not? Aiyoooooo

Yvonne: I have sharp nose.

Ezann. Why you cover your nose when got crack on my lens??

May Ying: Crack? 哪里?哪里??

Okay, everybody also ugly, so it's fair ah!!

TSKTSK.

Word out.

I Hate to Wear Jeans

Just had marketing presentation, went well just lack a lil bit of team dynamic and seriously we need Windows at work, not Mac! The cables aren't compatible and we can't display some of our pictures!! Ugh!

Oh and I really hate to wear jeans. A lot of people are happy that marketing presentation does not require a formal dress code but I'd rather be in formal attire, y'know like blazer and all. I hate jeans! So thick the material! Already so tight make my whole leg looked fatter! I was about to throw ALL my jeans away I'm just lucky that I was too lazy, if not I'll be bottomless for the presentation.

Gah. Anyway before the presentation I was a bit emotional. Still trying to adapt to my whole new social life in the university. It's totally different from poly, I know I shouldn't compare but I haven't had a least bit of fun. Not at all! I guess this particular event contributed to that thought:
I was walking towards the staircase abs noticed an unbelievable long queue for the NBS shirt, aight so I saw classmate x and I just wanna be friendly.

Me: hey! Gosh look at the queue. Are u queuing up to get the shirt?

Classmate x: no, I'm not queuing up. *turns HALL MATE, yabbedeeda on HALL stuff*

*silence for 3 secs*

Me: oh. Okay. Aight. See ya.

U tell me how indifferent is that?!?!

Okay, I don't stay in hall I know, but is that ALL u people talk about? Hall activities, hall supper, hall bah hall boo? HALL ain't ALL guys! Guess that's why I practically have to starve so that I don't have to eat lunch alone during breaks. But I don't, cause
I'm hungry and I cannot tahan I'll just eat in a corner. Sounds sad huh. Yea that's why I keep calling baby so he could talk to me but he's working he can't stay long on the phone. But he's been a huge support, guess without him I'll be having a breakdown. Love u baby!

On the other hand, something more worrisome- upcoming tests or quizzes or whatever that's gonna grade you and screw u if u don't do well. Yup. I just CAN'T do STATS. I can't absorb statistics. It used to be lovely. Poly made it lovely. University just turn that bitch around and let u see her face. (now I'm thinking of a song, it goes " girl don't turn around cause I'm in love with ya back", totally applicable).

I think kids shouldn't sit in trains. Waste space only:/ okay I know I generally sound hateful today but because my bag is so heavy! And I neh even bring laptop!!!! :'( hou sum foo ahhhh heelsssss

Stupid little girl come and knock her face on my bag and then say ouch. Wah very grumpy okay I shall stop here.

Oh anyway here's a picture of the Sunshine 'Little Buns' I bought which lead my conversation with baby to my boobs to some other girls' boobs and back to the buns again.

Mesti Jual Mahal!!!!

Hello! Am I forgotten here?
Yes?
No?
Whatever.
I love this blog because I can forget about it but it will always be there for me to rant.
Anyway, life's busy. Very busy in fact. Assignments, ICAs, boyfriend, money.
I screwed up one part of my life. I think. Oh no, two parts.
I say things I'm not supposed to.
And I spent unnecessarily.
See, y'all know what is it now.
Ta-Da!

I love my english romance

Homecoming by The Teenagers

[male]
Last week, i flew to san diego to see my auntie.
On day one, i met her hot step-daughter.
She’s a cheerleader, she’s a virgin, and she’s really tan.
As she stepped out of her massive car,
I could only notice she was more than fuckable.
I think she was coming back from the game or something,
’cause she was holding those silly pom-poms.

One day two, i fucked her, and it was wild.
She’s such a slut.

[chorus]
[male]
I fucked my american cunt
[female]
I love my english romance
[male]
It was dirty, a dream came true
Just like i like it, she’s got nice tits
[female]
It was perfect, a dream came true
Just like a song i’ve been wanting to

[female]
Ok, listen girls:
I met the hottest guy ever.
Basically, as i was stepping out of my suv,
I came face to face with my step-cousin or whatever, who cares?
Anyway, he was wearing skinny jeans, had funky hair
And the cutest british accent ever.
Straight away, i could tell he was rocker
From his sexy attitutde and the way he looked at me.
Mmmmmm, he is totally awesome.
Oh my god,
I think i’m in love.

[chorus]
[male]
I fucked my american cunt
[female]
I love my english romance
[male]
It was dirty, a dream came true
Just like i like it, she’s got nice tits
[female]
It was perfect, a dream came true
Just like a song i’ve been wanting to

[male]
It was so nice to meet you

[female]
The pleasure was all mine
I do like you
Come to cancun for spring break

[male]
I’ll think about it
It could be great

[female]
And don’t forget to send me a friend request

[male]
As if

They actually played this on Lush.fm. Oh I love Lush.

30 minutes

It's been interesting recently. The most touching and most exciting events of 2008 has happened! Haha. No la, just exaggerating.

Life has been just "like that" and I gotta start doing something. So I started running. It's a nuisance when I just start off. I'd be thinking, "ugh, this is so annoying, I'm tired already, why did I wake up so early to run, bloody bloody bloody blah." And as I go on, I loathe the way that leads me to Japanese Garden, but the entrance to the bridge just gears me up and along with some trance and electro that are playing in my ears, I got so damn excited by just running to the beat of Benny Benassi. Then after 20 minutes, everything turns mentally challenging for me. I start to feel so thirsty like there's no water on earth, and I keep gasping for air as a result of a relapse from my asthmatic history. The beats keep going on and on in my mind, it's not working anymore! Then, I start to think about how wonderful it is to complete the run. No, it's still not working, and finally, my ultimate weapon, my auntie. I'm sure if she's here with me she'd be like "Cha Lin I'm sure you can do it, ganbatte ne Cha Lin". Finally, the display on my watch shows 30:08! *Grins* I pause, stop the music, look out for people around me, no one in sight, so I go "fuck la! foooo what the fuck man! Wooooooo!!!!" haha. I did it! K, then run to Cheers and get my reward, water! :D

Soshite, I went home and saw my auntie in the hall.
"Where did you go Cha Lin?" asked Auntie Tomoko with a smile.
"I went to run" I replied.
"Hontou? Where did you run?" said Auntie Tomoko.
"Oh same place, Japanese Garden, I ran for 30 mins! Yay. Haha." I said with excitement.
"Ahhhhh Cha Lin, that's great" she said.

So I just went back to room and do my stuff. After 10 minutes. I heard a knock on my door, and Auntie Tomoko just dashed in, weeping sorrowfully and hugged me tightly. I WAS LIKE WHAT ON EARTH COULD HAVE HAPPENED MAN! PLEASE DON'T TELL ME SOMEONE DIED. PLEEEEASE.

"Auntie Tomoko, are you okay???"

"Iee daijoubu. Cha Lin ah, Auntie Tomoko, *weeps* just just feel so ...*weeps* touched that Cha Lin actually ran for 30 minutes...We all thought you were sleeping ne Cha Lin.. *cries* then you came back from running. So much improvement ever since you started running ne Cha Lin. I'm so proud of you, I'll get you a new pair of shoes okay?"

ZADAO!!!! Man... I was so shocked that she actually said that but after a few seconds, I was overwhelmed by her sincerity and empathy. I started to have tears at the corner of my eyes. And I told my beloved aunt "... auntie Tomoko, your eyeliner didn't smudge". Haha. Both of us started laughing after that.

I really feel so thankful for her existence, she's been my inspiration and support ever since I stayed here in Singapore. Always so encouraging, positive and open minded. One in a million:)

Okay, must run for at least 45 minutes! Train train train!

Word out.

so fair!

So sharp!

So sweet:)

I hope it lasts.

Just pierced my tongue. It's swollen now. Can't eat for at least a week, all I can take is fluid food. I hope training will be fine for me even though I'm losing out on carbs.

The short and slim tongue of mine has evolved into a giant, even shorter, and slimy creature. Haha. I still think it's doin' good since there's not much plaque around the piercing. White stuffs are forming underneath the piercing but it's just white blood cells I guess.

Read the aftercare and boy! No oral sex, haha. That's a funny point.
Greatest thing is I must always eat ice cream, and drink extremely cold stuff. My aunt's really nice and asking me every now and then if I'm okay, and if I need any food.

Only problem is I don't know how to break the news to my mom.

Hospital Emergency Scam

Was idling around like an intern and my phone rang.

Ring Ring Ring Ring

Me : Hello?
"Dr. Lim" : Hello? AHHHH this is Dr. Lim. Eh you please come down to SGH. (Singapore General Hospital). Your relative got accident.
Me: : Huh?? Who is it? What??
"Dr. Lim" : I don't know who. He gave me your number. You better come down to SGH now, he is in the Emergency Ward.
Me : Where is SGH? I'm not even from Singapore. I have no relatives here. Is this a scam?
"Dr. Lim" : You not from Singapore then where? Eh, who are you?

What the hell, are you asking me who am I? Loser.

Me : Err, who is the victim? Chinese? Malay? Indian?
"Dr. Lim" : Errr (pause for a few seconds) Indian.
Me : Okay. Thanks, I'll go down now. Bye.

Indian.@_@ He's so funny cause he talks like a Malay and he is Dr. Lim. Halim is it?
Stupid fucker, at least he is smart enough to call with a private number.
Anyway, as I'm quite paranoid, so I called up the two indian guys I know in Singapore and they are safe and sound. Haha.

Woo, I won a five day workout at Fitness First! So happy.
Contender Asia Finals was neat!
Congratulations to Yodsaenklai for winning the title. He's the real shit man.
John Wayne Parr did a real nice dunk while trying to shun Yodsaenklai's powerful kick. Sweet.
Good luck to Zidov for getting his balls back to normal, Zig Zach aims too well. Haha.
And I think I like Dzhabar, he fights with a 'cold' mind. Haha. So cute la.

Noose:)

Been reading some news on the internet because, as an intern, I have limited ability in helping the seniors in their work, all I can do was vouching and agreeing figures. Perhaps some pointless documentation too. Nevertheless, I have to admit that I like the fact that I am just an intern and I can idle around like an intern does! Hehe. Oh, yes the main focus here is the news. Yes, the news! Okay, I realised that I read very little and didn't really know what's goin' on in the world! Here are some fun, traumatizing, unimaginable, interesting, crazy, whatever articles that I've read. Enjoy!

1) This is definitely number one man, A father fathering her daughter's child! Yes, yes, father fathering his very own /biological daughter's child. Ewww, means they had ... SEX. How unbelievable! This is madness! Incestuous! This is AUSTRALIA!!!! Apparently they fell in love and psychologists attributed this disgusting act to Genetic Sexual Attraction. Nonsense la. No, love is not everything.

Read more and gross out~

2) Man's mystery suicide mirrors that of organ donor
Err, what do I say about this.... I think it's kinda creepy.... A man received a heart transplant from his donor, Cottle that shot himself to death, and few years later he suffered the same fate and shot himself in the throat and died. EEEEEE, I think the donor's spirit came back and haunt him for marrying Mrs. Cottle. Complicated, yes.

3) Baby born with one head, but wait, TWO FACES!
Fortunately for her, she is born in India, and is now being worshiped as the reincarnation of a Goddess. Plus, she wouldn't be confused if her father is actually her father or grandfather?

4)Pharrell Celebrates his 35th Birthday!

Nigo is lookin' like what he's wearing=D

Soulja Girl

"You gotta step like this to be a Soulja girl."
I wanna be a soulja girl. "a Soulja's strength comes from within, strength of mind, body, soul, and character. A true Soulja would have learned from his/her mistakes, taken responsibility for his/her actions and gained strength to never back down. Someone who knows no limits to his/her own power and God given abilities. A person who serves their people, lives by a strict code, and is never afraid to stand up for what they believe in." -UrbanDictionary-

Yea, watch me do. See how I'm gonna turn into a Soulja girl.

I have been idling my life away, never focused on anything.
I'm gon' perservere, I'm gon' do something extraordinary.
I'm gon' train hard till I achieve.

happy happy

8th of March, it's Pilihan Raya Umum day and also JAMMED UP DAY.
Yes, I was getting impatient in the bus on the way to the checkpoint, HELLO I CAN SEE THE CHECKPOINT ALREADY, MOVE IT!
Okay, so I was angry and I got off the bus, walked to the checkpoint with a whole lot of angry people. I was the angriest >:P Cause I stomped my feet and angry people around me looked at me.

So angry! I need something to appease my anger, so I pierced my ear=D
Okay la, not too say spontaneous or what cause I've been contemplating it, but I guess it should be the right time for me since I'm so angry. Haha.

So, I got a conch piercing, at 70 ringgit at Body Art Studio(City Square), way cheaper than what other tattoo&piercing studios offered in Singapore. My piercing artiste was 'A', he really did a good job. The pain was not as unpleasant as it seems. And now I'm a happy person, happy happy!

Sorry! Got blood. Haha.

No seafood!

Boring gila.

Too late

Today is the start of my attachment.
I was excited, can't wait to experience a grown up life, filled with freedom and ability to satisfy my material needs. But I realized, it takes a lot to achieve that, both physically and mentally.
I don't know why, but I think I've turned weaker.
Working isn't like what I've always imagined...

Talkin' 'bout the journey to work. Hmph. No car, okay, fine, I take it as it is BUT the squishy squashy kiasu freaks at the train station during the rush hour, I can't take it anymore. Every morning. I can picture it even though it's the first day of my work. Every morning. No way.

Then, I entered the building, telling myself that it's not bad, everything will be fine. And it turned out the opposite. The bright office lights and the solemn atmosphere were just pathetic. I started to doubt my choice of studies. Why did I take Accountancy & Finance? I was too careless, I didn't love myself enough to think of my future. I have totally no idea how am I gonna survive being an accountant/auditor. It's... it's... it's just... fucking boring.(sorry, I find the F word the strongest word to describe its boredom).

I don't wanna spend my life worrying if this company's figure will tally with the consolidated shit shit shit shit shit I DONT' WANT :( :( :( :(

DON'T WANT :( Am I too weak for this? Why are my other friends doing well? Why are they able to tolerate the idea of such a boring/mundane/repetitive profession.

I can't do anything, I'm too weak. I should just be a housewife.
